GTT can be performed as soon as you find the patient off the OHA’s and still in euglycemic levels irrespective of the duration of treatment. No need to wait for 90 days. if you reverse the patient before 90 days, you are doing an excellent job. Congrats! Keep it up.

My question is after performing gtt test ,at what intervals patient needs to check their sugar levels and hba1c ?and after gtt how long patient should be on Rasayan treatment?
After GTT pt needs to check HbA1C every 3 months and SMBG at regular intervals.
After Gtt you can cont Rasayana treatment for apunarbhav of Prameha and better management of diabetic complications.
You can use diet as a medicine in this case
