Hello sir
One of my patient was k/C/O of Dm since 2 yrs , he was low BMI Dm patient .his initial day 1 Hba1c was 15 % . Now latest hba1c after 3 months of treatment is 5.3 % . His GTT was performed recently nd it’s negative.
Now how often we need to check his hba1c and blood sugar levels after GTT sir ??
Excellent! efforts Dr. Anusha, You’ve taken for Reversing the patients Diabetes.
as Now the Diabetes is reversed, the next important task remains about timely follow ups and regular monitoring the patient with vitals including Blood sugar levels, dietary Guidance and Hba1c levels.
Hba1c levels to check every 2 months initially for 3 months, if those reading are in non diabetic zone then every three monthly you can monitor those.
while monitoring Blood Sugar levels- as per our SMBG every Sunday -Wednesday monitoring need to be done., those being in normal limits can be done once a week later.
Thank you sir.
